THE Chhun On Golf Resort has become Chhun On PGA National Cambodia and home of The PGA’s National Golf Academy Cambodia, marking a landmark moment in golf’s development across Southeast Asia.
The PGA has officially announced the partnership with Chhun On Golf Resort near Phnom Penh, re-branding the premier facility in marking the PGA’s first formal footprint in the country.
The resort features two championship courses designed by internationally acclaimed architect Brian Curley, with the Lakes Course opening to high praise in 2024, followed quickly by the debut of The Palms Course in May of this year.

Adding to the world-class layouts, the resort aims to solidify its status as Cambodia’s premier golf destination and eventually host major international professional tournaments.

This collaboration creates immediate employment opportunities for PGA Members, starting with the upcoming recruitment for a Head Coaching role at the new PGA National Academy.
Over the long term, Chhun On plans to work alongside the Cambodian Golf Federation to foster domestic talent, creating clear pathways for more locals to access and learn the game.
