Adams finishes 10th at the Lady Bulldog Classic

ATHENS, Ga. — Augusta golfer Sara Adams fired a 73 on Saturday to finish in 10th place at the Lady Bulldog Classic at the University of Georgia Golf Cub. The event held for individuals, was shortened from 36 to 18 holes due to the morning frost in Athens, Ga.

Adams registered four birdies on the day and was the low Jaguar in the event that was won by Chloe Kovelesky of Wake Forest.

Zoe Pinillos had a solid round and finished in a tie for 11th with a round of 74. Pinillos’ day featured four birdies. Marine Legentil rolled home a single birdie and shot 78 while Gwendolyn Yarnell finished with an 84.

For Adams, her 10th place finish was her best since coming in ninth at the 2024 Mimosa Hills Intercollegiate.

The Jaguars will now turn their attention to the spring portion of their schedule as they will travel to Orlando, Fl. for the University of Central Flordia Challenge Feb. 2-4. That is the first of five tournaments the Augusta women will compete in that culminates with the Southland Conference Championship.
