Alex Maguire shot a brilliant seven under 63 to win the Hilary Links Golf Society Winter outing by six strokes at The Island.
The former Walker Cup player made eight birdies on the temporary, par-70 course that was in play due to winter course work by architects Mackenzie & Ebert.
Maguire also led home the winning team alongside Ronan Flood and Paddy Spicer with a score of 62.
Former South of Ireland champion John Greene from Portmarnock was second in the gross with a 69.
Society President, Pàdraig Harrington, won the nett with a 72, edging out Cormac Sharvin after a countback.
