AIKEN, Sc. – For the third tournament in a row, the Augusta women’s golf team posted a top five finish, this time, the Jaguars came in third place at the More Than Golf Invitational presented by Bank of America. AU finished three shots behind Tulsa with Columbia winning the tournament. As a team, the Jags were 2-under-par on the day, the second best only to Columbia. Three AU golfers posted scores of under par.
Puntita Pawichai was the low Jaguar in sixth place and Sara Adams had another good tournament with a seventh place finish.

Pawichai was 3-under-par for the round and jumped up 13 spots on the leaderboard. She had six total birdies in her final round.
Adams was 1-under-par on Tuesday and finished in seventh place. She had four birdies and three bogeys on the day.
Marine Legentil also was 1-under-par in her final round. The highlight for her was an eagle to go along with two other birdies and three bogeys.
The final counting score was turned in by Sofia Valera who shot 76, despite making four birdies.
Augusta’s noncounting score was by Danielle Higbee who fired a 77 in the final round.
The Jaguars will next be in action Monday, March 9 at the Shootout at Wachesaw, a one day event at Murrell’s Inlet, S.C.
