I hate how not-gimmicky the Barstool Sports x Adidas Samba Golf Shoe is. The OG Samba is one of the most recognizable sneakers of all time, and while a Barstool collaboration could’ve easily gone off the rails, this one actually adds a unique wrinkle to the already-popular Samba Golf shoe. And somehow, it works. It looks good. (I hate that I like it.)
The shoe is pretty much what you’d expect: a clean, retro shoe that looks like it can be worn pretty much anywhere. The spikeless outsole keeps things practical on the course, but let’s be honest, nobody is buying this shoe because they’re worried about maxing out ground force and shifting weight in their feet. This one is truly all about vibes.

What makes the collab actually work is how naturally it fits into Barstool’s golf identity and simply how good the shoe looks. This isn’t Barstool trying to cosplay golf culture, it’s Barstool being Barstool on the golf course. Surprisingly, the branding isn’t obnoxious, which, considering Barstool, is a bit surprising. The Samba silhouette does all the heavy lifting, and the result is a shoe that looks great in a sport that has occasion to still take itself too seriously.
In case you were wondering, Riggs is already wearing them and clearly enjoying every second of it. And honestly, that tracks. If Barstool is your vibe, Saint Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, and these feel tailor-made for a St. Paddy’s weekend quick nine, parade stop, and inevitable pub crawl.
Are these shoes for everyone? Definitely not. But if you still have a Saturday Are For the Boys flag tucked away somewhere, or if Fore Play is permanently queued up in your podcast rotation, congratulations— Adidas and Barstool made these specifically for you.
