Bide Finishes Top 10, Georgia PGA Well Represented at PGA Professional Championship

BANDON, Or. — Five Georgia PGA professionals took on the best club pros in the country at the 2026 PGA Professional Championship at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, and they represented the GAPGA well on a big stage.

Francisco Bide led the way for Georgia, tying for 10th at 12-under 288 (71-74-71-72). Bide stayed steady all week and put himself right in the mix against one of the strongest fields in the country.

Anthony Cordes and Jacob Tilton both battled hard but narrowly missed the cut at 224. Cordes posted rounds of 71-74-79, while Tilton opened with a 69 before finishing 69-75-80 . Even without advancing to the final round, qualifying for and competing in this championship speaks volumes about their seasons.

Matt Sanders and Jeff Cammon also earned spots in the national field, adding to a strong Georgia presence at Bandon Dunes and showcasing the depth of talent within the Section.

Competing on a demanding stage like Bandon Dunes is never easy, but Georgia’s group proved they belong — highlighted by Bide’s top-10 finish and a solid showing from the entire GAPGA contingent.
