RICHMOND HILL, Ga. — The Augusta men’s golf team wrapped up play at The Ford Collegiate Tuesday afternoon at The Ford Field & River Club. As a team, Augusta finished in 12th place while Bo Blanchard II would register a 14th place finish on the individual front. Blanchard fired a final round 70 to finish at three-over par. Only 10 players finished at par or better. On the team front, it was No. 2 Texas grabbing the title as they were followed by No. 7 LSU and No. 1 Auburn.

Blanchard, who’s had a solid first season with the Jaguars, started the day with a double bogey on #10. He would get those shots back with a pair of birdies. He would card two bogies before making the turn at two-over. On his second nine, he would keep a clean scorecard with a pair of birdies and the rest pars.
Chapman Barnett registered his best round of the event with a five-over 75. Barnett made birdies on two of his first five holes of the day.
Stefan Jacobs and Dean Wilken would be the other counting scores for the Jaguars. Jacobs shot 76 while Wilken finished with a 78. Peiter Rossouw Jr. shot an 82 while Mason Fundingsland, playing as an individual, shot 79 to wrap up the tournament.
Augusta will next head to Texas for the Southland Conference Championship where the winner is an automatic qualifier for the NCAA Tournament. That event will be contested April 21-23.
