DALLAS — Senior Claes Borregaard collected his second Conference USA Men’s Golfer of the Week award after he tied for a first-place finish at the Cullan Brown Collegiate, the conference announced Wednesday.
He carded rounds of 73-73-72 for a 5-over par total of 218. The senior made 36 pars and seven birdies in the 54-hole event. He made 15 pars and one birdie in Tuesday’s final round. The Smorum, Denmark native guided KSU to a first-place finish in the event.
This is his second Conference USA Golfer of the Week honor.
KSU will host the Pinetree Intercollegiate Oct. 14-15 at Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw.
