Etienne Brault of Mercier, Que., fired a bogey-free, six under 65 to open the GolfBC Championship in Kelowna, B.C., on Wednesday. Brault goes into Thursday’s second round of the PGA Tour Canada-Mackenzie Tour event with a one-shot lead over Australian Will Barnett, Yi Cao of China and Calgary’s Sang Lee.
