LAS VEGAS, Nv. — The Georgia men’s golf team finished 11th at the Southern Highlands Collegiate at 17-over par on Tuesday at Southern Highlands Golf Course.
FAST FACTS:
- The Bulldogs shot four-over in round three to close out the tournament and move up two spots from round two.
- Sophomore James Earle shot one-over in round three to finish four-under and 35th on the leaderboard.
- Senior Carter Loflin and sophomore Matt Moloney finished tied for 37th at five-over after shooting one-over and three-over, respectively, in round three.
- Junior Grayson Wood finished with his best round of the tournament on the third day, shooting even par and moving up 11 spots to 42nd on the leaderboard at six-over for the tournament.
- Virginia (-15) finished first, followed by Auburn (-14), Illinois (-4), Texas (-1), and Florida (+3) to round out the top five. There were 15 teams in the field.
