  • Last time out, Georgia finished 10th at the 2025 NCAA Championships, its fourth Top 10 finish in the Greg Sands era and sixth in program history.
  • The Bulldogs return senior Carter Loflin, junior Grayson Wood and sophomores James Earle and Matt Moloney. The team added transfer Sungyeop Cho, who was named the 2025 Gary Player International Golfer of the Year for a Division II player, as well as freshmen JD Culbreth and Will Guthrie to its 2025-26 squad.
  • Head coach Chris Haack enters his 30th season at the helm in 2025-26. During his 29 previous seasons leading the program, the Bulldogs have advanced out of the NCAA Regional round and into the championships 24 times. Haack has also guided the team to at least one tournament win in 25 of the 29 seasons during his time as the head coach.
  • Since its inception in 2011, the Carmel Cup has been regarded among the most prestigious regular season events in college golf, annually bringing together eight of the nation’s top-rated teams from the Big 12 and SEC. Teams will engage in 18 holes of stroke play each day. Unique to college golf, the Carmel Cup is a six-player lineup tournament with teams’ five best scores counting at the conclusion of each round.
