EDMONTON – Vancouver teenager Anna Huang is in the hunt on moving day at the CPKC Women’s Open.
She starts the day in a tie for seventh place at 7-under-par 133 at Edmonton’s Royal Mayfair Golf Club.
Japan’s Miyu Yamashita has a five-shot lead at 14-under-par 126.
American Kiara Romero, South Korea’s Soo Bin Joo and Japan’s Yuri Yoshida are tied in second place.
Defending champion Brooke Henderson of Smiths Falls, Ont., is one of six other Canadians to make the weekend cut.
Play continues through Sunday.
