Killarney’s Valerie Clancy carded rounds of 70 and 68 to win the 49th edition of the prestigious Hermitage Ladies Scratch Cup.
The Irish international, a sophomore at the University of Indiana this year, finished a whopping shots clear of County Louth’s Deirdre Smith on eight-under par.
Hermitage’s Kate Lanigan finished a shot further back in third on level par with Elm Park’s Rachel McDonnell fourth and two-time winner Ciara Casey fifth.
