GATINEAU, Que. — Canada will welcome the world’s best women golfers when the CPKC Women’s Open returns to the Ottawa-Gatineau region as part of the LPGA Tour’s 2027 schedule.
The 53rd playing of Canada’s National Women’s Open will be contested Aug. 18-22 at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club in Gatineau, Que. The tournament will feature a US$2.75-million purse and will be the lone Canadian stop on the 33-event LPGA Tour schedule.

The 2027 tournament will mark the second time The Royal Ottawa has hosted the national championship and the first since 2000, when Meg Mallon defeated Rosie Jones by one stroke. It will be the sixth staging of the tournament in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
The championship will also return to Quebec for the first time since 2011. It will be the 14th time the event has been contested in the province.
Tickets for the 2027 CPKC Women’s Open will be available in late October 2026. Visit the official CPKC Women’s Open ticket page for information and updates.
The LPGA Tour’s 2027 schedule features more than US$147 million in total prize money, the largest prize fund in tour history. The total has nearly doubled since the beginning of the decade.
The calendar is designed to provide more efficient travel for players, with events grouped into regional stretches in Asia, Europe and North America. The LPGA Tour will visit 11 countries, along with Hong Kong, and 13 U.S. states.
The CPKC Women’s Open will follow the final major championship of the season, the AIG Women’s Open at Royal St George’s Golf Club in England. The Canadian event will be followed by the FM Championship at TPC Boston.
LPGA commissioner Craig Kessler said the schedule reflects the tour’s focus on giving athletes more opportunities to rest and recover while adding renowned venues and increasing prize money.
Several new or returning stops highlight the calendar, including events at The Clearwater Bay Golf & Country Club in Hong Kong, Nanea Golf Club and the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort in Hawaii, and Corning Country Club in New York.
The five major championships will be contested at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio, Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md., Evian Resort Golf Club in France and Royal St George’s.
Non-major purses will total more than US$94 million, an increase of nearly $12 million from the release of the 2026 schedule. The tour also expects 10 events to provide a minimum payout to every player in the field, while nearly 20 tournaments will offer enhanced travel, accommodation or transportation benefits.
The season opens with the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, Feb. 1-7 in Orlando, Fla., and concludes with the Grant Thornton Invitational, Dec. 6-12 in Naples, Fla.
