Dint reborn: Still evolving after 40 years

FOR nearly 40 years, the Dint name has remained part of Australian golf and today, Anthony Dinte is once again doing what he loves most: designing and building putters.

While the golf industry continues to be dominated by large overseas brands, Dint Putters has taken a different approach focusing on quality, feel, performance and Australian design.

Anthony, owner, designer and manufacturer of Dint Putters , has always believed that a putter should not only perform under pressure, but also look clean, feel soft, and inspire confidence in the hands of golfers around the world.

That philosophy is now driving the latest generation of Dint Putters.

After stepping back into putter design in recent years, Anthony embraced modern CNC (Computer Numerical Control) milling technology, premium materials and the latest advancements in putter engineering, while staying true to the simple, classic feel that built the Dint reputation.

The comeback began with the Phoenix  a limited-edition CNC milled mallet made from soft 303 stainless steel  and has now evolved into the latest release, the Zeroshift.

Anthony Dinte is back doing what he loves – designing and building putters.

The Zeroshift is Dint’s modern interpretation of the rapidly growing zero torque putter category. Designed to resist twisting throughout the stroke, the putter helps golfers keep the face square and start the ball on line more consistently.

“I saw the move towards zero torque putters and felt the concept made a lot of sense,” Anthony said.

“I wanted to create a putter that combined that technology with the soft feel, balance and clean appearance golfers expect from a Dint putter.”

Precision CNC milled from premium 303 stainless steel, the Zeroshift combines high MOI stability with carefully balanced weighting to promote a smoother, more consistent putting stroke.

More importantly, Anthony says the goal has always been simple help golfers enjoy putting more.

“Golf has always been a big part of my life,” he said and has been a member of Monash CC for over 45 years and also a member of The Lakes GC.

Today, Dint Putters continues to evolve with modern designs, premium finishes and a growing range of putters focused on performance, confidence and consistency on the greens.
