England Golf’s senior men’s and women’s teams have been named ahead of two major challenges – the Home Internationals and the European Team Championships.
First up are the European Team Championships with England able to select six players in both events.
The senior men head to Estonia while the women’s team travel to Slovenia. Both championships take place from 30 August to September 3.
The Home Internationals will this year be staged at Pyle and Kenfig Golf Club in Wales from 13-15 September.
Last year, England’s senior men and women came up trumps in a joint event staged at Woodhall Spa Golf Club (main image).
This year the seven men and seven women selected can defend that combined title as well as enjoying the opportunity to play for the historic trophies.
Due to difficulties with player availability, the men’s team for the Home Internationals features four players not able to be considered for the Euros.
The six women named for the Euros are joined by one additional player for the Home Internationals.
