The K Club in Kildare will host the MCM-sponsored PGA Pro-Am from August 10-11.

Marking the third consecutive year of Europe’s largest Pro-Am event, the competition will take place across the resort’s Palmer North and Palmer South courses.

Teams consisting of three amateurs and one professional will compete in a 36-hole stableford format, while professionals will also play an individual strokeplay event.

Last year’s edition saw entrants play the Palmer North course under tour conditions ahead of the Amgen Irish Open.

Similarly, this year’s Palmer South course will be configured in advance of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, scheduled for late August.

The field is expected to include professionals from Ireland and mainland UK PGA regions, along with several touring players, competing for a share of €100,000 in prize money.

The K Club will also host the PGA Cup at the end of September.

Cormac Sharvin won the 2024 event by one stroke over Niall Kearney and successfully defended his title in 2025, winning by two shots over former AIG Women’s Open champion Georgia Hall.

The three leading teams after two days, along with daily winning teams, will receive prizes at a gala dinner following the final round.

A limited number of team spaces remain.

Entry fee is €1,950 per team, with a closing date of May 31.

Professionals must register via the PGA website.
