Europe wrapped up an overall 16.5-11.5 victory over the USA after already securing the Ryder Cup with matches still left to play.
Tommy Fleetwood ensured the trophy would return to Europe by guaranteeing the half-point needed by Luke Donald’s team, and Shane Lowry’s tie with Jordan Spieth gave the hosts a five-point victory.
