Recent generations of Mizuno’s ST Series drivers have quietly worked their way into a lot of players bags. With a well-publicised ‘3 year plan’ Mizuno has been on a mission to fast forward its metalwood development. Now with the 4th pair of drivers in 4 years about to land in 2022 – golfers and media are rightly asking if Mizuno has gone a step too far. Yet Mizuno’s engineers believed that for all the advancements in ball speed over recent generations – they could still improve the stability and performance on the ST-Z and ST-X out on the course.
Fortunately, it looks like the independent testers agree.
