[Fix] Register your Flightscope Mevo+ with the Flightscope App

When you register your Flightscope Mevo+ it’s not the most intuitive process and hopefully this will help someone out.

In the app you will click on the cog icon in the top right and then select the “Register your Mevo+” button. You will be required to be connected to your Mevo+ before this button will work or else it will ask you to connect to a device.

It’s not clear but you will need to connect to your Mevo+, click on the “Register your Mevo+” button and then a form will pop up which you must fill out. This is where most users have an error because it is not clear in the instructions. You must then disconnect from the Mevo+ device and connect to your WiFi which has internet access, the app will not use your mobile devices LTE/3g/4g/5g connection to submit the form and you will get an error which says “FS Golf isn’t responding”.

If you register the Mevo+ you will have to toggle between the connection with the Mevo+ and the WiFi connection, steps outlined below:

  1. Connect the Mevo+ to your device FS Golf app
  2. Settings > Register your Mevo+
  3. Fill out the form (DO NOT CLICK NEXT)
  4. Minimize the FS Golf app > Connect to the WiFi at home
  5. Open the FS Golf app > Click Next
  6. It should say the registration is in process
  7. You should get a prompt to connect the Mevo+ again
  8. Minimize the app > 13. Connect back to the Mevo+ WiFi network
  9. Open FS Golf > Complete registration

Do not use the QR code to register, connect to your Mevo+ by looking for your serial number in the WiFi settings:

  • From your Home screen, go to Settings > Wi-Fi
  • Turn on Wi-Fi. Your device will automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  • Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network (example: FSM2-000000) before you can join the network, you will be asked to enter the network’s password (example: M2-000000).
    Note: the network will say No Internet Connection when connected to the Mevo+
