Former LIV Golf star qualifies his way into SA Open field

Former LIV Golf star Bernd Wiesberger will line up with the Investec SA Open field following his successful qualifying round at Paarl Golf Club.

Wiesberger, who became the first Austrian to play in the Ryder Cup in 2021, was among the qualifying hopefuls on Tuesday. With 8 European Tour wins to his name, he will now play in the second oldest national event along with the likes of Justin Walters, Bryce Easton and amateur Matthew Roussouw.
