Four South African events will form part of the 2027 DP World Tour’s global schedule which was announced today.
The global schedule will feature 42 tournaments in 24 different countries as part of the Race to Dubai.
Additionally, along with the 2027 Ryder Cup, team match play will also feature at the start of the calendar year, with the Team Cup taking place from January 15-17.
The first event in South Africa – the Nedbank Golf Challenge will take place in December in Sun City from 3-6 December. The week after Mauritius will host it’s national Open.
The exciting news is that the International Swing will consist of three weeks in South Africa.
Firstly, the Alfred Dunhill Championship heads to Durban Country Club before the Investec South African Open returns to Stellenbosch Golf Club.
The final event of the swing – the Joburg Open – takes place at Randpark Golf Club.
