Four Named Cobalt Golf All-American Scholars

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) has released the 2024-25 NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-American Scholar awards, which includes Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels Ryan Dunn, Jackson Hiller, Sam Karman and Beck Lewis.

This was Karman and Lewis’ third straight honor, and a first for Hiller and Dunn who became eligible for the award this year. These four led Oglethorpe to their 24th consecutive NCAA appearance.

Karman was also named a member of PING All-American, Sigma Alpha Alpha, All-SAA first team, and was a two-time SAA athlete of the week.

Hiller was also named a PING All-American, PING All-Region, All-SAA first team, and was a two-time SAA athlete of the week.

Dunn was also named to the All-SAA first team and was a conference athlete of the week. Lewis also earned Sigma Alpha Alpha honors.

To qualify for the GCAA All-American Scholar, student-athletes must be a sophomore, junior or senior that has competed in at least 50% of the team’s competitive rounds, hold a stroke average under 79.0, maintain a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher, and be of high moral character.
