Four of the 11 South Africans playing at the PGA Championship made the weekend cut.
They are Justin Harding and Shaun Norris (both three over, T53) and Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel (both four over, T54).
Harding and Norris both shot second-round 72s on Friday, while Oosthuizen carded a 71 and Schwartzel a 73.
Those who missed the cut are Branden Grace (five-over 145), Christiaan Bezuidenhout (six-over 146), Dean Burmester (seven-over 147), Daniel van Tonder (nine-over 149), Oliver Bekker and Garrick Higgo (both 10-over 150) and Erik van Rooyen (11-over 151).
