PING has just released its G Le 3 club lineup; one that promises “serious fun” for women who are serious about their golf game.
These lightweight, performance-engineered G Le 3 clubs incorporate key technical developments previously showcased by the company’s top-selling G 430 range. In addition, they feature a trio of sophisticated colour combinations, a choice of either lightweight red or aqua Lamkin ST soft grips and PING’S celebrated custom fitting options.
PING G Le 3 Driver
With a powerful forged face, a C-2 swingweight and a generous 11.5 degrees of loft, this 460cc Ti driver, PING’s longest to date, provides optimal results for sub-80kph swingspeeds. Also provided are PING’S characteristic aerodynamic turbulators, +/- 1.5 degrees of trajectory tuning and a choice of either light flex or ultralight flex ULT 250 shafts.
PING G Le 3 Fairways
At a tested 7.5 yards longer, these C-1 high-MOI weapons (3W, 5W.7W and 9W) feature maraging steel facewraps, stronger lofts and a special three dot crown-based alignment system. The loft adjustability carries over from the driver as does the choice between two lightweight ULT 250 shafts.
PING G Le 3 Hybrids
There are 4 hybrids (4H,5H,6H and 7H) in this maraging steel range. Made slightly longer, to provide more consistent gapping in the transition to iron clubs, each model also features a dual-roll face profile designed to ensure more consistent spin. Again, each model is powered by a lightweight ULT 250 shaft (*either 49g or 56g).
PING G Le 3 Irons
These classy Hydropearl Chrome 2.0 finished irons feature a number of technical advantages ranging from a multi-material PurFlex cavity badge, designed to customize face flexing and sound, to high-density heel/toe weights and lightweight stainless steel metalwood-style construction. Sets, which can be ordered in Standard, Retro or Power lofts, comprise 6-9 irons in conjunction with machine-grooved wedge options that include PW and UW and a confidence-inspiring PING Eye-2 style SW.
PING G Le 3 Putters
The final members of the inspirational G Le 3 family are 4 distinct putter models featuring special two-piece Pebax elastomer inserts and PLD-inspired shallow grooves. The range comprises the 345g Anser, the 350g Louise mid-mallet, the distinctive 355g Fetch and the fully-machined 360g aluminium and steel Ketch; all of which come with iconic PING PP59 pistol grips and distinctive G Le 3 colouring.
