AUBURN, Ala. — The Georgia women’s golf team tied for sixth at the NCAA Auburn Regional on Wednesday, falling a single stroke shy of advancing to the NCAA Championships. The Bulldogs wrapped up play at 28-over 892, a shot behind South Carolina and Tulsa, which tied for fourth and earned the final spots to compete for a national championship.

• Freshman Savannah De Bock led the Bulldogs on Wednesday with a 2-under 70. She played her first nine holes at 6-under.
