Garrick Higgo’s penalty for being late to the first tee is the biggest talking point so far of the PGA Championship.
But at least the South African is mostly taking it on the chin.
If the young golfer arrived on time, his par at the first would see him share the initial first round lead with fellow South African Aldrich Potgieter. But Higgo’s poor timing cost him two shots as he signed for a 71.
He would like a minute’s grace but rules are rules.
Incredible!
