Garrick Higgo has parted ways with his caddie Austin Gaugert following the tee-time incident at the PGA Championship.
Higgo made headlines around the world when he arrived late for his first round tee time at the year’s second Major.
He was duly hit with a tw0p-shot penalty turning his par at the first into a double bogey. He went on to miss the cut by a single stroke.
Higgo has now split with caddie Austin Gaugert, who was on the bag for Higgo when he won the 2025 Corales Puntacana Championship.
Gaugert previously caddied for Patrick Rodgers, Ryan Moore and Alex Noren.
