How much prize money does every golfer earn at the 2025 BMW Championship?

The BMW Championship rumbles into Caves Valley GC near Baltimore for the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoff event this Thursday, and there’s another hefty pot of cash on offer for those successful enough.

Justin Rose will tee-off with the first FedEx Cup event, the St. Jude Championship, under his belt after beating JJ Spaun on a third playoff hole.

Although Rose’s victory appeared to be only secondary to final round leader Tommy Fleetwood blowing another chance to break his PGA Tour duck.

There’s not just the $20million purse on the line in Owings Mills over the weekend. Players are scrapping to keep their head above water when it comes to the 30-player cut off point for next week’s Tour Championship at East Lake in Atlanta, and also for valuable Ryder Cup places.

Three days after the Tour Championship is concluded US captain Keegan Bradley, who won this tournament in 2024, will make his six wildcard selections to complete the line-up. Luke Donald’s selections for Europe are expected the week commencing Monday 1st September 2025.

But before we get to another mouth-watering Ryder Cup, let’s return focus to the BMW Championship and how much loot is on offer.
