We recently added an AI Chat Bot to assist in answering questions about ULD. It has become very obvious that many people do not know how to use it. It is important to structure your “prompts” in such a way that the bot can determine what type of information to return. For example….this week during the ULD Worlds, we received many questions that returned (I’m sure) unsatisfactory answers. For example: If you prompt “ladies”, the bot has no clue how to answer that. I’m sure the answer received was unsatisfactory. A good prompt would be, “Are there ladies divisions in ULD?” or “Who won the Open Amateur’s Ladies division in 2024?”. If you are the one who prompted “long drive champion”, you probably did not get the answer you were looking for. A good prompt would be, “Can you tell me who was the long drive champion for the men’s Open Pro in 2024?”. It should be noted that the AI Bot can only respond with answers for which it has been trained. For example, something that happened today….is not going to be in the data bank to create a response.
