The 2026 PGA Championship gets underway Thursday at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa., where the best players in the world will compete for the Wanamaker Trophy. The tournament runs Thursday, May 14 through Sunday, May 17, with coverage available across ESPN, CBS, ESPN+ and Paramount+.
This year’s PGA is especially interesting. Aronimink is hosting the championship for the first time since 1962, when Gary Player won the event. Rory McIlroy enters after winning the 2026 Masters and will be chasing his third PGA Championship title, while defending champion Scottie Scheffler arrives as World No. 1 after winning last year at Quail Hollow. Jordan Spieth is also once again chasing the career Grand Slam.
