Husqvarna strengthens commitment to women’s golf with new partnership

HUSQVARNA, a global leader in robotic lawn mowing has signed on as an Official Partner of the upcoming Australian women’s golf majors, the 2026 women’s Australian Open to be held at Kooyonga Golf Club in South Australia (March 12-15) and the 2026 Australian WPGA Championship at Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club in Queensland (March 19-22).

A growing supporter of golf worldwide, Husqvarna will activate on and off the golf course at the back-to-back weeks of elite women’s golf at events featuring major championship winners Minjee Lee and Grace Kim.

Husqvarna’s partnership with Australia’s two biggest women’s golf events follows its recent announcement as Title Partner of the Husqvarna British Masters, with the 2026 women’s Australian Open to represent a special milestone in becoming the first major championship event in Australia to utilise Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers to support tournament preparation, where Husqvarna technology will be used in collaboration with the club’s greenkeeping team.

Husqvarna robotic lawn mowers are currently used by over 1,700 golf courses worldwide, the he technology enabling their course management teams to focus on precision championship preparation while delivering consistent, world-class playing surfaces.

Off course, Husqvarna will deliver engaging on-site fan activations at both events, including live robotic mower demonstrations.

Chief Commercial Officer at Golf Australia and PGA of Australia, Michael McDonald said Husqvarna’s global commitment to professional golf made them an ideal partner for the women’s major events in Australia.
