I’m a Professional Shoe Tester. Here Are My 3 Favorite Golf Shoes Of 2026 (So Far)

We’ve reached the point in the year where I’ve tried enough golf shoes that a few pairs start to make their way out of the trunk and onto my feet more often than others.

And as someone who’s tried more than150 pairs of golf shoes and has around 75 pairs in the rotation, a golf shoe with staying power is hard to come by.

There’s no set limit on how many pairs make my list each year. Sometimes, it’s two, sometimes it’s five. For this year, there are three pairs of shoes I find myself reaching for again and again.

Keep in mind that this is exactly what it sounds like: a personal list of my current favorites from this year. In that way, it’s much different than what we produce with our Most Wanted Golf Shoe testing which takes all personal preference and bias out of the equation.

Think of this as Connor’s favorites, not MyGolfSpy’s.

With that out of the way, let’s dive into the three pairs I keep coming back to so far this year.

NIKE Pegasus One G

This is far and away my favorite golf shoe of the year. It’s everything I want in a golf shoe: comfortable, good traction and looks more like something you’d see on the street than on the links.

NIKE finally did what I’ve been begging them to do: take the years of innovation and expertise in footwear and pack it into a good golf shoe. I can’t stop wearing them.

Even if this pink colorway is a little obnoxious, my love for this shoe isn’t.

adidas S2G LTD

The best shoe adidas has produced the entire year is one they’ve not even marketed or talked about. The S2G LTD is a souped-up version of the popular budget-friendly S2G model.

This one comes complete with a monochromatic leather upper and, the pièce de résistance, the full-length BOOST midsole.

Damn, these feel (and look) great.

Jordan 1 Low G (Spiked)

This one is a bit of a sleeper and has gone largely unnoticed this year. But after years of people begging for a spiked AJ1, those pesky SOBs finally did it, and it’s glorious.

Not just because they added spikes but they changed the entire midsole and added a ton more cushion to the heel of the shoe.

Translation? More traction AND more comfort than the spikeless pair. Yeah, these ones end up on my feet a lot.
