Casey Jarvis has moved ahead of PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai in the latest Race to Dubai rankings.
Jarvis is now fifth following this week’s Scottish Open.
He sits one place behind countryman Jayden Schaper with Hennie du Plessis rewarded for his consistency in 9th place. Another South African, Shaun Norris, is in 12th place ahead of this week’s Open Championship.
England’s Rai missed the cut while Jarvis was SA’s best finisher as he ended in a share of 21st place.
Norris had a decent week closing with a -3 final round to share T36.
The top three in the Race to Dubai remain unchanged with Patrick Reed, Rory McIlroy and Eugenio Chacarra sitting on top.

The leading 10 players at the conclusion of the DP World Tour Championship will be eligible for a share of the $6,000,000 bonus pool. Players must have participated in at least four counting tournaments in the current season, including the DP World Tour Championship, to be eligible for a share of this bonus pool.
At the moment, Schaper is in line to bank $550 000 and Jarvis $300 000
