Jones and PAYNTR Golf have teamed up to create a golf shoe simply called the Jones Sports Co. RS by PAYNTR Golf.
While Jones has carried other footwear options, including its Forrester’s Outerwear collaboration and previous PAYNTR models, this release feels especially aligned with the Jones bag aesthetic. The RS has more of a heritage golf shoe look than the FO Rainshedder RS1, which leans more modern and technical. This one takes inspiration from Jones’ refined aesthetic and certainly leans more heritage golf. It falls directly in-line with Jones’ 2026 Heritage Collection.
Aside from PAYNTR’s performance, the appeal of this shoe comes directly from how good it looks. The Jones RS is clean, traditional and easy to pair with the rest of the Jones lineup. If you care about your entire setup, you know that a good looking and good performing pair of shoes is important. A great-looking bag, classic headcovers and the right pair of shoes create a cohesive aesthetic.
The Jones RS features a CLARINO Trivela microfiber upper, full-grain leather overlays, a waterproof and breathable membrane, an ARIAPRENE tongue and bootie, a TPU outsole with Fast Twist insert system, PMXNITROGEN+ cushioning, a PMXFOAM midsole and PAYNTR’s PMX SPEED PLT propulsion plate. In other words, it has the visual language of a heritage golf shoe with modern performance underneath it.
At $200, this is firmly a premium golf shoe. But for Jones fans who want a shoe that matches the brand’s classic golf identity while still offering PAYNTR’s performance platform, this is probably the most complete footwear release Jones has put out yet.
