Kevin Kisner’s epic shank leaves Tiger Woods in hysterics at the TGL

The usually ever-consistent Kevin Kisner had a moment of madness at the new TGL, which left Tiger Woods unable to contain his laughter.

The TGL (Tomorrow’s Golf League) which is in its inaugural season has been created by Woods and Rory McIlroy as they aim to combine the traditional elements of golf with modern technology to create a truly unique viewing experience.

Littered with star players, the league creates a blend of competitive golf with real-time interactive elements such as a fan-friendly format and live data tracking throughout.

Four-time PGA Tour winner and former World Number 14 Kisner is popular for his laid-back personality out on course and he saw the funny side of his mishit stroke.

Kisner’s strike out of the bunker was thinned and blazed into the flagpost which likely saved the ball from flying into the crowd.

Woods and his teammates were able to see the funny side as the American was fortunate with the shank’s outcome.

The lighthearted moment was a hit with golf fans watching as it showed a glimpse of amusement that rarely features in a traditional golf broadcast.

It showcased the lighthearted atmosphere that the TGL brings and shines a light on the less serious moments we see on the golf course.

The TGL’s team-based emphasis adds an extra string to the league’s bow as fans can support a team as well as just an individual player.

It also provides much-needed breaks from the ultra-competitive nature of the Tour.

The PGA Tour is in Southern California, home to some of the most beautiful courses this weekend, as the field battles out the 2025 American Express in La Quinta.
