Nelly Korda clinched her second major title at the Chevron Championship with a commanding two-stroke victory.
Korda’s win marked her fifth consecutive victory on the LPGA Tour, a remarkable achievement shared by only a select few players in the sport’s history.
She joins an elite group that includes Nancy Lopez (1978) and Annika Sorenstam (2004-05), who have also accomplished this feat.
Quite the company to join.

“I’m incredibly grateful for this win,” Korda said. “It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m thrilled to have come out on top at such a prestigious event.”
Korda finished with a four-day total of 13-under 275 to claim the title. Maja Stark of Sweden provided stiff competition, finishing just two strokes behind Korda. Lauren Coughlin and Brooke Henderson shared third place with impressive scores of 278.
Korda nearly acing the par-3 17th, with her tee shot hitting the hole and settling within 10 feet for a birdie opportunity.
