Mizuno’s Luke Donald has never been one to change his equipment too regularly – but heading into 2022, there’s a fresh look to his set up. We sent Fredrik Lindblom to take a closer look and ask a few questions.
Starting with wedges – the T7’s have finally moved along and been replaced with the new T22 wedges. A mid-point in look between Luke’s T7’s and the T20 wedges that Luke passed on. Onto irons – not often we have a player asking for a smaller sweet spot.
Finally onto a stickier subject for Luke and Mizuno – the driver. Luke has quietly played the Mizuno driver consistently for a nunber of years – since Mizuno entered its 3 year driver plan. ST190G, ST200G and now the ST-Z.
