Meet the 20 newest PGA Tour members

The 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season concluded on Sunday evening at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship, as 20 PGA Tour cards were awarded at the TourBound Card Ceremony.

The top 20 players on the points list earned PGA Tour membership for the 2027 season, which gets under way at The American Express from January 21-24.

Austin Hitt, who entered the final event at No.22  in the Korn Ferry ranking, carded a 5-under 66 in the final round for a two-stroke victory over Blades Brown at the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

With the win, Hitt vaulted to sixth on the points list and secured his first PGA Tour card.

In addition to Hitt, Davis Lamb was the only other player who began the week outside the top 20 and ultimately finished with a PGA Tour card in his hand for next season.

Ross Steelman clinched the top spot, earning his card along with valuable exemptions for the Players Championship and the US Open.

Scotland’s Scott earns promotion

Steelman, one of five two-time winners this season, overtook Scotland’s Sandy Scott for the No.1 position with a top-15 finish at the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.

Scott secured his PGA Tour card with a late-season run which featured four consecutive top-five finishes, including victories in back-to-back starts at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship and Compliance Solutions Championship.

The 28-year-old former Walker Cup player from Nairn started out his professional career on the PGA Tour Americas before graduating to the Korn Ferry Tour in 2024.

The full list of 20 players to earn PGA Tour cards for 2027, in alphabetical order, were: Blades Brown, Alistair Docherty, Cooper Dossey, Taylor Dickson, Hunter Eichhorn, Jeremy Gandon, Ian Gilligan, Austin Hitt, Ian Holt, Michael Johnson, Davis Lamb, Dylan Menante, Tommy Morrison, Alvaro Ortiz, Doc Redman, Sandy Scott, Cole Sherwood, Davis Shore, Ross Steelman and Carson Young.

Brown, aged 19 years and four months, becomes the youngest graduate in Korn Ferry Tour history, breaking the previous record set by Australia’s Jason Day, who was 19 years and 11 months when he earned promotion to the PGA Tour in 2007.
