Greg Owen produced a bogey-free final-round 64 to secure a two-shot victory at the Barbados Legends hosted by Ian Woosnam at Apes Hill.
The 54-year-old Englishman finished on -16, pulling clear of 2025 Staysure Legends Tour Order of Merit winner and defending Barbados Legends champion Scott Hend, who carded a closing 69 to finish runner-up on -14 after leading at the end of round two.
2014 Ryder Cup player Jamie Donaldson secured third place on -11 following a composed and consistent final round, while his Ryder Cup teammate Stephen Gallacher and Sweden’s Johan Edfors shared fourth at -10.
Locked together for much of the day, Owen and Hend went head-to-head through the front nine, with little separating the pair, but a three-birdie burst on the back nine proved the difference as the Englishman edged clear.
“I just tried to stay calm,” said Owen. “I knew we were all there or thereabouts, but I wasn’t exactly sure of the scores. I just thought, ‘keep up with him and start making some putts.’
“I rolled one in, then 13 is always a tricky hole, it’s like the bogey hole on this golf course – and I holed a lovely putt there. Scott [Hend] just missed his, and then again on 14 we both hit decent shots but I was the one who made the putt. Three in a row just gave me that little bit of a gap.”
That run gave Owen the control he needed, and he never looked back as Hend was forced to chase over the closing stretch.

The victory continues an excellent run of form for Owen, who claimed his first senior success at the MCB Mauritius Legends at the end of 2025 and arrived in Barbados fresh from a top-10 finish at last week’s Senior PGA Championship.
“I know what I can do,” he said. “I proved it in Mauritius, I proved it last week and I’ve proved it again here. My game’s good – I’ve just got to keep doing the same things.”
The Staysure Legends Tour now takes a short break before returning in June for the Costa Navarino Legends Trophy in Greece.
