Five South Africans, led by Jayden Schaper, are inside the latest top 100 world rankings following the weekend’s action.
Schaper dropped a single place to sit in 69th place in the latest OWGR with Casey Jarvis in 73rd following a week where he didn’t move.
The biggest talking point was that of Richard Sterne following his first win in 13 years. The victory saw him move from 229 to 118th in the world to sit between Shaun Norris (101) and Thriston Lawrence (128).
Also inside the top 100 are Aldrich Potgieter (down to spots to 78) and Garrick Higgo, who rose four places to 90th and moved one ahead of Christiaan Bezuidenhout in the process.
Justin Walters, who won at Humewood for the first time in 15 years, is now 608th following a boost of 149 places.
