Owls Soar to North Carolina for J.T. Poston Invitational

WAYNESVILLE, NC. — The Kennesaw State men’s golf team continues its season in Waynesville, N.C. at the J.T. Poston Invitational at Waynesville Inn & Golf Club.

The tournament is scheduled for Sept. 15-17 with 18 holes to be played on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament is named after current PGA Tour member J.T. Poston, who played at Western Carolina for head coach Bryant Odom prior to Odom’s arrival at Kennesaw State.

KSU will be playing in this event for the fifth time in program history.

The Owls enter play off an eighth-place finish at the Southern Dunes Invitational. Shaun Cook was the Owls top finisher in the event. He finished tied for 12th at 3-under par.
