The 2025 PGA Tour season has seen over $400 million claimed across the year, with several of the field cashing in through utter golfing dominance.
From serial Major champions to season-long grafters, many of the Tour’s top stars have encountered significant hikes in earnings this year.
We look at the biggest 2025 earners as the full 2025 PGA Tour prize money rankings are revealed…
1. Scottie Scheffler (USA) – $19,202,883
- Four wins in 16 events
The world number one has had another dominant season in 2025 with two PGA Tour event wins and two Major titles.
Wins at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, PGA Championship, Memorial and The Open through his consistent ruthlessness made him the highest earner this year.
2. Rory McIlroy (NIR) – $16,156,418
- Three wins in 14 events
McIlroy put an emphasis on his rest and recovery in the 2025 season, not playing as many events but still winning three titles and finally completing his awaited Career Grand Slam.
He started the season hot with wins at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and the regular season’s most lucrative regular season event, The Players Championship.
He then completed the highlight of 2025 with his Master’s win and Green Jacket at Augusta National.
3. J.J. Spaun (USA) – $10,142,222
- One win in 20 events
Spaun has undoubtedly been the breakout star of the season, but will rue playoff defeats at The Players Championship and FedEx St. Jude Championship.
However, his dream year was capped off by a captivating U.S. Open win at the notoriously difficult Oakmont Country Club.
4. Sepp Straka (AUT) – $10,014,894
- Two wins in 20 events
The Austrian was, at times, unplayable in 2025, with his two wins at The American Express and Truist Championship bringing in the cash.
Consistency was the name of the game for Straka, who was ever present in the top half of the leaderboards in the heart of the season.
5. Russell Henley (USA) – $9,628,056
- One win in 15 events
Henley had a lucrative season and has truly played himself into Ryder Cup contention.
His victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational was backed up with further gritty performances as his dependable putting helped him nearly rack up $10 million in 2o25.
6. Justin Thomas (USA) – $9,502,662
- One win in 17 events
While still a mixed season for Thomas, there were periods where he was undoubtedly at his Major-winning best, namely his clutch RBC Heritage win.
There are still plenty of areas JT will be looking to improve, but it’s an improvement from his struggles of 2024 and a good earning season.
7. Ben Griffin (USA) – $8,333,352
- Two wins in 25 events
Griffin claimed two wins this season, including a shared victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans team event and a classy Charles Schwab Challenge win.
He played in more events than most and ground out large prize payouts with relentless consistency.
8. Harris English (USA) – $7,734,152
- One win in 18 events
English’s win came at the Farmers Insurance Open early in the year as he sustained his reliable scoring and measured play over 18 events.
He was runner-up to runaway leader Scheffler at The Open in a lucrative late-season prize money boost.
9. Keegan Bradley (USA) – $7,184,645
- One win in 18 events
The Team USA Ryder Cup captain’s sole win came at the Travelers Championship, where he stole victory from a crestfallen Tommy Fleetwood on the last hole.
His stunning 2025 has seen rare calls for him to be a rare playing-captain, but he may be on Team USA’s side on merit…
10. Collin Morikawa (USA) – $6,996,394
- No wins in 16 events
It was an unusually quiet season for the double Major winner; however, he was quietly consistent as he cashed his prize cheques.
His precision and endurance took him to nearly $7 million for the season without a win.
