Mark Power opened with a bogey-free six-under 64 to grab a share of the lead after the opening round of the Clutch Pro Tour’s UAE Championship at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.
He shared top spot with three other players — Jack Yule. Sam Hessian and George Mason — when play was suspended.
John Ross Galbraith shot 65, aPaul McBridend Brandon St John a pair of 68s and James Sugrue a level par 70.
There will be a cut after 36 holes with the top 50 and ties after round three receiving Order of Merit points and prize money.
