Steven Fisk confirmed himself as Mizuno’s player to watch for 2024 at the Korn Ferry’s LECOM Suncoast Classic, finishing T2 after a three-man play-off. A win at the Lakewood National Golf Club’s Commander course would have secured back-to-back Korn Ferry titles for Fisk.
Fisk finished (-20), and a final round 68 meant the in-form Fisk has now recorded 10 consecutive sub-par rounds, moving him to 3rd on the 2024 Season Points table. At the end of the season, the top 30 players on Korn Ferry will earn their PGA Tour cards for 2025.
Fisk is following in the footsteps of Grayson Murray, who earned his 2024 PGA Tour card via a successful 2023 Korn Ferry season – before winning the Sony Open.
Steven’s steadily worked himself into this position over the last few seasons—Mackenzie Tour to Korn Ferry. He’s had his first win and is now looking at a PGA Tour card for 2025. He’s got all the tools and is coming into his own.
Fisk’s progress is a reward for Mizuno’s principle of working with developing and re-emerging players.
We’ve learned that players already at the top of their games don’t need our help. Setting our focus on helping players reach the next level takes more patience. At the same time, it’s infinitely more satisfying when a player like Steven breaks through.
