We set Remec Carlson, Mizuno’s newest content producer the task of taking on the next generation of Mizuno talent. First up was our 2020 British Amateur Champion Joe Long. Currently playing on South Africa’s Sunshine Tour, Joe met up with Remec (CEO of Golf) at the Standard Club in Atlanta, Georgia – soon to the home of Mizuno’s US Tour Studio and R&D centre.

You’ve got to be able to manage your tendencies. Even now i find myself going around in circles, trying to get better, but its so tough to change your tendency. So i think you’ve got to own your swing, and be self sufficient when you’re away from coaches. You’ve got to be able to teach yourself when you’re away. When you get top the big ranks, you’re able to have your coach there all the time and that’s great. But you have to get there first – so until then you need to learn to be self sufficient.
