Douglas’ Robbie Walsh Jnr edged out Lee Valley’s Ben Murray after a four-hole aggregate play-off to win the Lee Valley Senior Scratch Cup.

He followed rounds of 78 and 74 with a four-under 68 to tie on four-over with Murray, who closed with a 77.

Scores

Warrenpoint’s Colm Campbell was third on five over alongside clubmate Rian Carvill (fourth) and Charleville’s Jordan Boles (fifth).

Nenagh’s David Reddan was sixth on six-over after a 71, while Galway Bay’s Luke Cunningham took the best Sunday round prize with a 70.

Muskerry’s David O’Donovan won the nett while Keelan McCarthy was the best Lee Valley player on 12 over 228.
