SA’s Norris does it again

South Africa’s Shaun Norris will tee it up at The Open this year following yet another win on the Japan Tour this weekend.

Norris claimed his ninth victory on the East Asian circuit when he scooped the Mizuno Open which has allowed the South African to make his seventh appearance at the Major which tees off in July.

Norris began the final round clear of the field powered to a 5-stroke win over the field and clinched the victory at a total of 24-under.

He broke the tournament record of 19-under set by Brendan Jones in 2013 en route to securing his 9th career tour win.

This will be his second start in a row at The Open Championship.
