Sad, gutted Norman weighs in on LIV 2.0

Greg Norman, the man who launched LIV Golf, has given his views on the conjecture surrounding the future of the league.

Norman was replaced by Scott O’Neil in 2025. The league has changed many things since then but following the funding from the PIF being pulled, the future has been up in the air.

Even though New York-based, BC Partners, are said to be ready to invest in LIV 2.0.

“I’m sad, disappointed, gutted to be honest,” Norman told Skratch’s Alan Shipnuck.

“I hate to see it wither away. I would rather just see it end.”

“We were a family,” Norman continued.

“We were united by the feeling that we were doing something new and exciting for the game of golf. It took an unbelievable amount of effort, and there were constant headwinds, but we did it because we believed in the vision.”
