Jayden Schaper’s run at the Investec SA Open continued thanks to two very late birdies during the second round of play.
With two holes to play, Schaper was sitting at +1 and was outside the projected cut line. In his five previous starts at the South African Open, he’d never missed the cut.
The highest-ranked South African in the world (56th) finished birdie-birdie and will be playing weekend golf at his National Open for the sixth consecutive time.
